Saint Kitts and Nevis and the Arab Republic of Egypt signed a joint communiqué. The document establishes diplomatic relations in the margins of the 76th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
During the meeting, Foreign Minister Mark Brantley and his counterpart His Excellency Sameh Shoukry discussed the possibilities of strengthening cooperation through improving business, trade, and economic relations.
“Strengthening our regional and international ties is a high priority for the government,” says Minister Mark Brantley.
“Building diplomacy grants us diverse economic opportunities and a stronger vision to move forward and tackle global issues like COVID and the climate crisis,” he added.
Foreign investors can become citizens of Saint Kitts and Nevis through the Citizenship by Investment Program.
The program offers a number of benefits:
- Quick processing: the citizenship is granted in 6 to 9 months
- Zero tax: St. Kitts & Nevis imposes no income, wealth or inheritance taxes.
- An applicant does not need to visit St. Kitts & Nevis in order to qualify for citizenship, although all applicants are subject to a strict due diligence check.
- St. Kitts & Nevis recognizes dual citizenship, so you can still benefit from your current citizenship.
- Global Mobility: St. Kitts and Nevis offer enhanced global mobility opportunities for individuals obtaining citizenship through its Citizenship by Investment program
The country offers several investment options: in government fund, real estate, approved public benefit projects, and approved private home routes.
