The Council of the European Union (EU) on December 13 in Brussels will hold an intergovernmental conference with Montenegro on EU accession. The conference will be held at the ministerial level.
Montenegro has opened all negotiating chapters, and progress in chapters 23 and 24 will determine the further pace of negotiations with Montenegro.
“According to the revised methodology, the Intergovernmental Conference with Montenegro will become a forum for political dialogue on the reform process. It will also take into account the overall accession process and set plans for the next year,” said the Slovenian chairmanship of the EU Council.
