Vanuatu Citizenship by Investment Program Accepting Multiple Fiat And Crypto Currencies

Vanuatu’s illustrious citizenship by investment program, dubbed the Vanuatu Development Support Program (DSP), is now accepting investments in a wide array of fiat currencies, while indirect payments in cryptocurrency are also accepted.

The DSP requires a donation from a foreign investor to grant them and their families Vanuatuan citizenship. An investment of US$130,000 is sufficient for a single applicant, while a donation of US$ 220,000 covers a family of four.

Historically, Vanuatu only accepted this donation in USD, but has now broadened the parameters of accepted currencies to include Australian Dollars (AUD), New Zealand Dollars (NZD), Japanese Yen (JPY), in addition to the already available USD.

This inclusion of multiple currencies will allow smoother applications for investors looking to take advantage of the numerous Vanuatu citizenship benefits gained through the DSP.

In addition to accepting multiple fiat currencies, the Vanuatuan government will accept cryptocurrency payments, albeit indirectly. As the Vanuatu cryptocurrency landscape has been one of the most pioneering throughout the globe, the nation devised a route to accept crypto payments through its vast network of certified agents.

Applicants can now pay the agents in cryptocurrency, and the agents will pay the government in fiat on behalf of the investors.

This move will allow crypto investors, especially those in nations where they cannot exchange cryptocurrency, to easily get Vanuatu citizenship and all of its benefits, especially its crypto-friendly landscape.
