São Tomé and Príncipe has officially launched its Citizenship by Investment program, creating one of the most competitively priced options in the global investment migration market. NTL Trust is proud to announce that it has been appointed as an official licensed agent for the program.
With a minimum donation starting at US$90,000 for a single applicant, São Tomé and Príncipe is now one of the very few jurisdictions worldwide offering citizenship routes under the US$100,000 threshold. Applications will be accepted beginning in early September, with processing times averaging just six weeks.
The program will be overseen by a newly formed Citizenship Investment Unit headquartered in Dubai, a strategic hub chosen to ensure efficient processing and accessibility for investors worldwide.

- Passport: US$350 per person
- National ID: US$150 per person
- Certificate of Registration: US$250 per person
- Processing Time: Approximately six weeks
Eligible dependents include spouses, financially dependent children up to age 30, and parents aged 55 and above. The program also allows for the future addition of newborns and spouses.
Driving national development
Investor contributions will be directed to a newly established National Transformation Fund, designed to support major infrastructure and social projects. The first initiative will focus on renewable energy, with the ambitious goal of making São Tomé and Príncipe the first fully green-powered country in its region.
Subsequent projects will target education, housing, road development, and employment creation ensuring that the CBI program fosters sustainable national development.
