São Tomé and Príncipe Issues First Citizenship by Investment Passport

The São Tomé and Príncipe Citizenship by Investment Program has reached a major milestone with the official issuance of its very first passport, marking the successful processing of the program’s first citizenship-by-investment application.

Historic Achievement

This historic achievement confirms the successful launch and operational strength of the program, as well as its growing credibility within the global investment migration industry. It also reflects the strong collaboration between government authorities, licensed international agents, and industry stakeholders who have supported the program since its inception.

The 2025 Year End Report

According to the 2025 Year End Report, the program has demonstrated impressive performance since its launch in September 2025. The average processing time currently stands at 2.5 months, with ongoing efforts underway to reduce this to under two months. The fastest recorded approval was achieved in just four weeks.

To date, a total of 27 applications have been approved. The top five nationalities served by the program are Germany, India, Russia, China, and Nigeria, collectively representing 80% of all processed applications.

These results highlight the rapid progress of the São Tomé and Príncipe Citizenship by Investment Program and the strong trust placed in it by applicants, partners, and the wider investment migration community.
