Launched in 1993, Dominica’s Citizenship by Investment Program has been voted the Best Citizenship by Investment Program for several years in a row by the Financial Times’ PWM Magazine.

Currently, more than fourteen countries in the Caribbean, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East offer citizenship by investment programs. However, the best programs this year, according to PWM, were programs in Dominica and Saint Kitts and Nevis.

The CBI 2021 index is based on nine criteria, in each of which Dominica received the highest score.

Investors have two investment options: to invest in the Economic Diversification Fund or Real Estate in order to obtain Dominica citizenship.

Economic Diversification Fund: This is a government fund that generally supports socio-economic activities in a country. Minimum investments start at US$200 000 per applicant.
