Saint Kitts and Nevis Reaches Historic Record for Visa Waiver Agreements and Diplomatic Partnerships

Saint Kitts and Nevis has reached a record high for the number of visa-free agreements and visa-on-arrival agreements signed in the Federation of Saint Kitts and Nevis. Thus, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Aviation, the Honourable Mark Brantley, on December 16, signed another agreement with Sao Tome and Principe.

At the moment, citizens of Saint Kitts and Nevis can travel seamlessly to 161 countries, including major business centers in Asia, Europe, Africa, and America. This means that the eastern Caribbean country has caught up with Barbados in the number one passport in the Caribbean region and has become the 24th in the world, identifying Mexico and Israel.

This strong growth clearly makes the country even more attractive to wealthy investors looking to obtain second citizenship and passport.

“During his Budget 2022 Presentation last week, Minister Brantley said that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Aviation “shall continue to seek means of convergence with all of our partners, that we advance our discussions and actions around our mutual interests.”

He also added that the government will continue to build on key affiliations with partners such as Canada and the United States to further strengthen bilateral relations and forecasted that face-to-face engagements at ministerial and ambassadorial levels would increase with quarantine and travel restriction ease,” wrote traveldailynews.
