His Excellency High Commissioner Kevin M. Isaac and Mr. Albert Njoteh Fotabang, at a short ceremony at the High Commission of Saint Kitts and Nevis in London, signed a joint communique establishing diplomatic relations between Saint Kitts and Nevis and Cameroon.
At this meeting, the diplomats agreed on a visa-free regime, and also discussed the possibility of promoting cultural exchange and strengthening support for small states in international organizations.
“We are delighted to have formalised diplomatic relations with Cameroon. We know that building new relationships and deepening existing ones are key elements of Government’s policy,” said High Commissioner Dr. Kevin M. Isaac.
In the past few years, Saint Kitts and Nevis has established links with countries such as Mozambique, Djibouti, Rwanda, Sao Tome and Principe, and many others.
