AEA-ASOCIACIÓN EUROPEA DE ABOGADOS, also called the AEA INTERNATIONAL LAWYERS NETWORK, was established in 2004. Despite the fact that the Association is of European origin, it has spread all over the world. NTL Trust has recently joined the AEA.

AEA has held fifteen international congresses (the very first conference was held in Madrid in 2015). The Sixteenth Congress will take place in Barcelona on May 26 and 27, 2022.
